My Story

I am an artist, a wife, and a mother of three young children. We recently moved back to our hometown, Greenville, SC after 8 yrs. I love reacquainting ourselves here and introducing our children to our favorite spots. We are striving to making our new house inviting and personalized to our family.

As a child some of my favorite play was crafting—like making little people out of twigs and acorns. I took every art class my parents could give me growing up and graduated with a 2-D Studio Art degree. Never tired of exploring new mediums (the joys of art school), I delved into 3-D felt-making during graduate school, but drawing and painting plants and people are my current favorites. I’ve had the privilege of teaching different art classes in a few colleges and also drawing lessons from my home.

I constantly make and design—whether gifts for friends, home decor, or fun things for my family—but I had a growing desire to hone a section of that creativity into a body of artwork ready to share with others. The joys and challenges of training and caring for my children at home has also been the boundary I needed to break into a creative venture several years ago.
